Hygge House is a cozy, wood-framed structure modeled after a classic Canadian wilderness cottage, designed to evoke warmth and community. Inside, the entire space is painted fluorescent yellow, creating an inviting stage for imagination and play. Visitors become part of the design, as true hygge emerges through shared experiences. Now an iconic public art piece, Hygge House is one of Winnipeg’s most photographed spaces, blending art and architecture into a celebrated depiction of cottage life and collective warmth.
