At Swan Valley Regional Secondary School—a vital hub for surrounding communities, including Sapotaweyak Cree Nation and Pine Creek First Nation—Public City led an Indigenous Design Consultation, engaging Elders and students in envisioning a new theatre, workshop, and gathering space that would serve as a cultural and creative anchor for the community. Situated at the school’s southeast corner, the design supports a wide array of programs, from musical and theatrical performances to multi-media arts production, celebrating and accommodating the rich diversity of school and community activities.
