Gillam Town Centre is a multi-phase project enhancing the core of Gillam, a northern Manitoba town south of Churchill. Designed to anchor local growth, it reflects Gillam’s unique qualities, embracing rugged elements like snow and black flies. Developed with Fox Lake Cree Nation, Gillam residents, and Manitoba Hydro, the design draws from community workshops to address local needs. This 80,000-sq.-ft. mixed-use development envisions an urban center that blends past and present, preparing Gillam for future residential expansion and establishing a resilient, community-centered northern town core.
