Public City collaborated with GEC Architecture to upgrade the facilities and site infrastructure, along with improved accessibility for the Commonwealth Stadium, located in Edmonton, Alberta. With the redevelopment of the city's Stadium Station on the LRT line in 2022, increased ridership contributed to event-day congestion at the North-East corner of the site. Public City proposed a series of sloped walkways to improve site-circulation and funnel visitors to the South and West gates via generous pathways and a redesigned North Plaza. The sloped paths provide space for vendors, tents, and game-day activities, while providing an accessible route and seating opportunities for all visitors.
